The tse-111/118 combo essentially make up a tms-4.
If I recall ,the factory low crossover point was 250hz and the high 4k. No time delay was needed for the mid/high portion as they were physically aligned but not sure about bass/mid. Hopefully you still have the factory mid(model ls-1001s stamped Fane on the edge of the basket) as its the only one that really works in that horn but it is possible you have a different 1" ,as there were some upgrades in that department(I think it was an E.V. diaphram rd-cp300). To get a better sound out of them I would go active 3-way and bipass the passive crossover. Try crossing over the mid at 300-350hz as this combo always needed a good bit of eq at the low/mid xover point. With the higher point your 10" will last longer, plus you should require less eq. For the 1" you will have to eq in a rising response starting around 8k, but that depends on which 1" is in there. To get best results, go see someone with smart or use a tef and you will be happy. Though they are older they still sound very good, they just do not take the power that todays speakers do .
Hope this helps
Warren
