SPL B-DEAP Bass Horn Enclosure
www.soundphysics.com
|

|
 |
The Sound Physics Labs B-DEAP bass horn enclosure utilizes the
company’s patent pending Boundary Dependent technology, with “External
Airpath” design facilitating efficient generation of high levels
of acoustic power with low distortion.
The design takes into consideration the physical space outside
the actual box, utilizing boundaries, enclosure walls and geometry
to form a bass horn external to the unit. With the B-DEAP approach,
the last half of the horn (the big end) is created through the existing
room and enclosure boundaries.
|
The enclosure is loaded with two 12-inch high-excursion drivers. Low-frequency
cut-off is boundary dependent (on configuration in room), typically 30
Hz to 40 Hz. The unit measures 42 inches (h) by 42 inches (w) by 18 inches
(d), and weighs 175 pounds.
