Soundcraft MH3 Console
www.soundcraft.com
|

|
 |
The Soundcraft MH3 offers dual-mode operation and is available
in 24, 32, 40, 48 and 56 mono channel frame sizes, all with an additional
four stereo channels as standard. It also is outfitted with eight
groups, 12 auxiliary busses, the same mic amp and EQ designs as
the Soundcraft MH4, eight VCA and eight Mute groups with snapshot
automation, true LCR panning and outputs, and an integral 12x4 matrix.
With modular block architecture, inputs are assembled in blocks
of eight, reducing cost and weight, but they are still accessible
from the top of the console for servicing. Four stereo inputs comprise
a single block, while the output and master modules also form two
blocks.
|
Each output section offers a stereo FX return with three-band EQ, with
routing to the main MIX outputs or to whichever signal is under fader
control.
EAW DSA Series Array Loudspeakers
www.eaw.com
|

|
 |
The Digitally Steered Array (DSA) Series from EAW includes DSA
full-range and low-frequency loudspeakers as well as DSAPilot software.
Each loudspeaker includes amplification and digital signal processing
that can be used to tailor vertical output pattern to match a given
acoustical environment.
|
Adjustments are made via the Windows-based DSAPilot software that calculates
environmental parameters and then uploads specific settings to achieve
appropriate coverage without physically relocating the loudspeakers. Each
DSA full-range loudspeaker includes eight 4-inch woofers, eight horn-loaded,
1-inch dome tweeters and 16 channels of amplification and DSP. DSA low-frequency
loudspeakers house eight 4-inch woofers, eight channels of amplification
and on-board DSP. Loudspeakers can be networked using standard EIA-485
or optional CobraNet.
Blue Microphones Ball
www.bluemic.com
|

|
 |
The Ball from Blue Microphones is a phantom-powered dynamic microphone
with a proprietary active balancing circuit in the output stage
that maintains a constant pure-resistive 50-ohm load across the
usable frequency spectrum.
Its “Class A” phantom-powered circuitry is solid state. Polar pattern
is cardioid, with a frequency response of 35 Hz to 16 kHz. Sensitivity
is 3.5mV/Pa at 1 kHz (1 Pa equals 94 dB SPL). Output noise is 18
dB, “A” weighted, while output impedance is 50 ohms. Maximum SPL
is rated at 146 dB. 48 V DC is required for phantom power, with
current draw at 2.5 mA.

Audio-Technica AT3060 Tube Microphone
www.audio-technica.com
|

|
 |
The AT3060 phantom-powered tube microphone joins the Audio-Technica
30 Series.
It operates on standard 48 V phantom power, so it does not require
a separate power supply and cable. It also offers a new large-diameter
diaphragm cardioid condenser element and a nickel-plated brass acoustic
element baffle that enhances element stability.
The tube is shock-mounted to dampen mechanically induced vibration.
The AT3060 includes a large coupling and precision valve design.
The mic finish is silver satin. An AT8458 shock mount and a protective
pouch are included.

New Remote for A & H iDR DSP System
www.allen-heath.com
|

|
 |
Allen & Heath has added the PS-5 remote controller, which works
in conjunction with the PL-4 infrared wallplate controller within
the A & H iDR DSP audio system for fixed installation and live audio
applications. The iDR concept was established to allow installers
to choose a combination of products to create “set and forget” tailored
audio distribution and control systems.
|
The new PL-5 is designed to be slim enough to fit in pockets and sufficiently
inexpensive for several to be used by staff in any given venue. The use
of the buttons is dictated by how the installer has set up the remote
wallplates, and may be programmed to control source selection, volume
control, patch selection or EQ. Control of the remote wallplates is achieved
using Allen & Heath’s proprietary PL-Anet control system over CAT5 cabling.
Electro-Voice QRx-212H/75 Loudspeaker
www.electrovoice.com
|

|
 |
The Electro-Voice QRx-212H/75 is a two-way loudspeaker with an
asymmetrical 75-degrees x 50-degrees rotatable constant directivity
horn. In factory delivered position, the horn provides a 15-degrees
up/35-degrees down vertical coverage pattern. The rotatable horn
allows 180-degrees rotated mounting, while keeping nominal coverage.
|
Frequency response is 43 Hz to 18 kHz (-10 dB) and power handling is
650 watts continuous (passive). The unit includes two DL12Sx 12-inch woofers,
the new large-format DH-7 driver with a 3-inch voice coil and an integrated
crossover with an acoustic frequency of 2 kHz. Dynamic circuitry provides
independent protection of both subsections. QRx loudspeakers are intended
to function as main PA and/or stage monitors.
Martin Audio W8LC Compact Line Array
www.martin-audio.com
|

|
 |
The Martin Audio W8LC is a compact, three-way, all-horn line array
loudspeaker system with an asymmetrical design allowing mid- and
high-frequency horns to function as separate devices, with true
90-degree horizontal dispersion. Enclosures measure 39.4 inches
by 14.5 inches by 21.7 inches and weight 121 to 132 pounds, including
flying hardware.
|
Hinge point is the front of the cabinet to preserve the same spacing
between adjacent cabinets regardless of splay angle. Array curvatures
can be called up on Martin Viewpoint predictive software. The low frequency
section includes horn-loaded 12-inch/3-inch coil neodymium drivers. Mids
are handled by twin 6.5-inch horns with unique gemometry and short toroidal
phase plug to maintain horizontal coverage pattern up to the 3 kHz crossover
point. Highs are supplied by three 1-inch low-curvature drivers, with
dispersion tracking that of the mids.
Peavey CS Series Power Amplifiers
www.peavey.com
|

|
 |
Peavey has debuted four redesigned CS Series power amplifiers:
CS 800H, CS 1200H, CS 2000H and CS 3000H. Power ratings go from
800 W to 3,000 W. Each amp channel offers a variable crossover,
variable low pass filter and an amp function switch that switches
from highs, lows or full range.
|
The front panel display includes LED input indicators for amplifier
active, DDT active, temperature warning and DC output warning functions,
plus two fully automatic, dual-speed cooling fans that pull cool air from
in front of the rack. The fans activate only when needed, making these
amplifiers completely silent at lower levels. All are 2U units, with XLR-1/4-inch
combo-connector inputs as well as binding post and Speakon output connectors.
Other outputs include separate Speakon mono bridge, thru/low jacks and
high jacks.

Community T-CLASS Touring Loudspeakers
www.loudspeakers.net
|

|
 |
Community T-CLASS Series of touring loudspeakers includes full-range
TFR and subwoofer TSS components. TFR loudspeakers employ a three-way
horn-loaded design with a pair of 12-inch ferrofluid-cooled woofers,
a single M200 midrange driver, and either one or a pair of UC2 two-inch,
non-metallic high frequency transducers.
Eight TFR mid/high sections are available and can be installed
quickly in the enclosures, allowing an inventory of separate mid/high
sections to be maintained. Two input modules are offered, one that
facilitates either passive or bi-amp operation and another that
supports tri-amplification. These can also be swapped. The TSS subwoofer
is loaded with single 18-inch woofer and has a trapezoidal enclosure
identical to that of the TFR components. The cabinets have standard
three-point, seat-track rigging.
