HPV Magnetic Array Device (MAD) Panel Array System
Frequency response and output is determined by array size, output power requirements and program material, and typically ranges from 60 Hz to 20 kHz. Optional dipole subwoofers are available for LF extension. MAD drivers are wired in series-parallel, presenting amplifiers with a 4-ohm impedance load per row. B&C Speakers 18TBX46 Low-Frequency Driver
ARX EQ 260 Graphic Equalizer
Also included is a sweepable 20 Hz to 200 Hz high-pass filter, and an in/out hardwire bypass switch with optional transformer output. The EQ 260 is specified as providing signal-to-noise ratio of 95 dB, while unweighted dynamic range is listed at 120 dB and distortion is rated at less than .004 percent at 100 Hz, 1 kHz and 10 kHz. Martin Audio W8LS Line Array Subwoofer
The W8LS offers a dual long-excursion 18-inch direct radiator design and is rated to produce 138 dB continuous and 144 dB peak. Extended frequency response is stated as 32 Hz to 180 Hz (±3 dB), with useable response to 28 Hz (-10 dB). The drivers are reflex loaded by ports at either end of the enclosure and substantial internal bracing is employed to minimize energy absorption by the cabinet walls at the high pressures generated within the enclosure itself. W8LS subwoofers are designed to be powered by Martin Audio MA 4.2S power amplifiers. CAMCO Tecton Series Power Amplifiers
All are optimized for use with higher or lower impedances, and offer three operational modes: parallel mono, bridged mono and stereo. Output current monitoring, and mains fuse protection are also included. All Tecton amplifiers occupy two rack spaces, and offer selectable input sensitivity, clip limiting and subsonic filter as well as fascia LED indicators for operation mode, clip, signal and output current. Safety features include DC Protection, mains fuse and over-voltage protection. A remote control is available as an option. Alcons Audio RBN 601 Ribbon Driver
Upgraded Denon DN-T625 Combo Deck
The CD mechanism is able to support playback of CD and CD-R/RW formats, offers single and continuous playback modes, program play (up to 99 tracks) and three repeat modes (single track, all tracks, A-B) for continuous playback. The unit is also able to display CD encoded text through the use of a highly visible FL tube display. Pitch change of up to ±12 percent is available. The cassette record and playback functions include Dolby B/C noise reduction. The REC input source is switchable between internal CD (with CD deck synchronized recording) and external line input (XLR and RCA balanced/unbalanced). D-PAC Audio MP-152 Stage Monitor
Shure DFR22 Digital Signal Processor
It also includes modules for equalization, dynamics processing, delay, and matrix mixing and is configured through a drag-and-drop Windows software interface. The DFR22 offers single-channel and stereo 5-, 10-, and 16-band DFR processing blocks. An auto clear mode removes changes to equalization made by the feedback reducer after a specified period of time. Both XLR and Phoenix connectors are included. Sabine 2.4 GHz True Mobility Wireless Mic System
New on-board digital signal processing includes Sabine’s Mic SuperModeling. The standard capsule on the SWM7000 series is an Audix OM-3, with the Audix OM-5 available as an option. All SWM7000 systems come with remote control software. SWM7000-ND Series receivers include both analog and digital audio outputs and allow for networking of up to 70 channels (one transmitter per channel) using a single computer. Peavey KOSMOS PRO Processor
THUD provides an additional bass boost an octave higher than the original bass track to fill in the low end, while XPANSE intensifies the left-right stereo image. The STRATOS function clarifies the upper high register, and Barometric Shift, which tunes the XPANSE range. Other controls include a “Deeper” switch for altering the THUD range and a “Dynamics” control for tailoring QUAKE for tight or loose response. Switchable input/output meters assist with matching levels. Drawmer SP2120 Loudspeaker Protector
The SP2120 is intended for insertion in the sound system immediately prior to the amplifier stage. Its signal path combines a mixture of ‘multiple time constant’ circuitry and automatic gain control (AGC) that allow small overloads to sound louder, even when they are not. The front panel of the 1U, two-channel processor includes an integral security lock to ensure that only key holders may make adjustments to the maximum volume levels. In ‘unlocked’ mode, two front panel pre-sets are available for adjustment by the installer. The first calibrates the 16-segment left/right bar graphs and the second sets the absolute volume level to which the system is allowed to perform. If the SP2120 receives increased signal levels, a transparent protection circuit is activated which maintains the specified volume level without degradation in sound quality. Symetrix SymNet Software v3.5
Graphic EQ processing modules in mono and stereo, and automatic verification of firmware in the SymNet hardware units when bringing the system online with a Windows PC are also included in this software upgrade. Version 3.5 will support a new hardware device known as Control I/O. Intended to be connected to a SymNet ring via RS-485, this unit offers expanded external control options through the eight analog control inputs, eight open collector outputs with +5 volt pull-up resistors, four control relays, RS-485 port, four Adaptive Remote Control (ARC) ports, and 15-pin “joystick” MIDI port.
