The Shure PSM 200 Personal Monitor System is intended for cost-conscious musicians, houses of worship, and installations requiring assistive listening devices. It is comprised of the P2R Hybrid Receiver that operates as a wired bodyback and a wireless with the addition of the P2T Transmixer component.

The Transmixer is a frequency-agile transmitter with eight channels per system and includes an integrated mix control with two mic/line XL-1/4-inch combo input channels for personal control and XLR split outputs that connect signals to a mixing console or other device without affecting original settings. The E2 Earphone includes interchangeable flex and foam sleeves for secure fit. The PSM 200 can be purchased in complete system configurations or as individual components.

The Tannoy V Series is a line of compact, point-source loudspeakers with the company's Dual Concentric design and a new dual-wedge cabinet shape. The new line include models V8 and V12 (with high-power Dual Concentric drive units), V15 (with new 15-inch Power Dual drive unit), and V300 (with new 12-inch Super Dual).

V Series cabinets are made of multiple-ply hardwood with a recessed carrying handle (the V8 and V12) and a blanking plate for installing a pole mount. Flying points are provided with M10 inserts, and bracket-mount M8 inserts are also included on the rear of the cabinet.

The Audio-Technica AT899 subminiature omnidirectional condenser microphone measures just 5 mm, operates on battery or phantom power and includes a complete accessory kit. The mic plugs into the included AT8537 power module, which offers the battery/phantom power operation plus low-frequency roll-off switch, and an integral XLR3M connector supplying a low-impedance balanced output.

The accessory kit includes single and double mounts, clothing clip, viper clip, magnetic clip, two open-pore foam windscreens, and two metal mesh element covers to protect the condenser element from moisture, makeup, and other contaminants. Also included is a carrying case that holds the microphone and accessories.

The new Architectural Acoustics Digitool MX digital audio processor is a configurable, DSP audio processing system designed for stand-alone operation. It offers eight microphone and line-level inputs and eight line-level outputs, 24-bit converters and dual Analog Devices SHARC DSP engines. Capabilities include full matrix mixing, dynamics processing, delay and equalization.

In addition, the Digitool MX includes a programming interface that allows efficient setup. The unit is completely configurable from its front-panel LCD interface. Although connectivity to Windows-based PCs is included, it is not required for basic configuration, control or operation. It also offers a built-in support for serial and voltage control interface and an additional interface to support a new line of wall-mount controllers for custom control configurations.

The Lexicon 960LS offers eight channels of balanced analog I/O that can be configured as four stereo machines at 44.1/48 kHz or two stereo machines at 88.2/96 kHz. It comes standard with one DSP card and one LARC2 controller, and provides support for a second DSP card that more than doubles its available processing power, as well as a second LARC2 controller, which allows shared control of a single machine. Features can be added to upgrade the 960LS to a full 960L. The AES/EBU Digital I/O Card adds eight channels of digital I/O. Coupled with a second DSP card, the 960LS can support up to eight stereo machines at 44.1/48 kHz or four stereo machines at 88.2/96 kHz.

When multi-channel functions are enabled, it can also support up to four surround machines at 44.1/48 kHz or two surround machines at 88.2/96 kHz.

The DPA IMK4061 Microphone Kit consists of a type 4061-BM miniature mic and an XLR adapter and includes a number of mounting accessories, making it a close miking solution for a wide variety of musical instruments. Capable of handling 144 dB peak SPL before clipping, the 4061 can also be used for snare drums, trumpets, guitar/bass speaker cabinets, and other high SPL sound sources.

ViewPoint is a new Windows-based program developed to enable Martin Audio W8L line array users to quickly configure their system to suit a particular venue. ViewPoint has three screens and a Help function: Venue Screen shows the array in the venue for design and editing: Array Screen shows the array rigging in detail from the side: Patch Screen shows how the array is zoned and the controller set-up.

The user enters the venue dimensions, vertical coverage start/stop points, trim height and number of cabinets. By clicking a button, ViewPoint then automatically calculates the optimum array configuration, including the overall tilt of the array and the splay angles between each cabinet.

The new Radian Audio RMF-1122 MicroFill is a compact two-way loudspeaker with a 2-inch compression driver, a 12-inch high-power woofer, and optional bi-amp or passive operation. Phonic America has introduced the MRS1-20, a cost-effective analog surround mixer that includes 20 mono input channels with three band EQ, and six aux sends per channel.

Offering six assignable outputs for 5.1 surround (Left, Right, Center, Left and Right Surround, and LFE), as well as independent 5.1 control room monitoring, the MRS1-20 can also mix and output to two channel stereo.

The six channel returns can be assigned to the main 5.1 mix buss for mix-down without using extra channels. The MRS1-20 features an integrated meter bridge and external power supply.

The MediaMatrix X-Bridge provides CobraNet audio network interface for the X-Frame 88 digital audio processor. Up to four simultaneous CobraNet audio bundles appear within the XWare software as two sets of eight channel inputs and outputs.

Several combinations of system configurations are possible with the X-Bridge, including interfacing with larger, frame-based MediaMatrix systems, stand-alone CobraNet operation using the popular CAB Series breakout boxes or peer-to-peer systems where long distance audio transport is required. The X-Bridge includes support for both RS-232 and RS-485 serial data interfaces, so XControl flush-mount controllers and third-party control systems can easily communicate with the X-Frame 88.


SLS RLA/2 Ribbon Line Array

The RLA/2 ribbon line array loudspeaker system from SLS Loudspeakers is designed for small and medium-sized venues. It incorporates the latest SLS proprietary ribbon driver, and each cabinet includes two 8-inch cone drivers and an SLS PRD1000 Push-Pull Neodymium Ribbon Driver for accurate high-frequency response out to 20 kHz.

The low-frequency section provides sensitivity of 99 dB (1W/1M) with a nominal impedance of eight Ohms. The dual 8-inch drivers handle 500 watts (reference IEC 268-5), yielding a continuous sound pressure level of 125 dB with a peak performance rating of 131 dB.
